Financial Controller - Hybrid working

This is an exceptional Financial Controller opportunity to join a market leading company that is part of a global business. Reporting to the CFO and leading a small team you will be responsible for all aspects of financial reporting, governance and control. This hybrid working Financial Controller role is ideally suited to a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with several years post qualified experience. The CFO is a highly experienced, engaging and positive individual who will be a great support and mentor for an enthusiastic and ambitious candidate.

What will you be doing?

• Preparation and presentation of monthly management accounts, performance analysis and forecasts Finance Business Partner to all department head and the senior leadership team – providing commercial performance insight and challenge Statutory reporting and returns Corporation Tax and HMRC returns including R&D tax credits Management of the external audit relationship Working capital and cashflow management Annual business planning and budgeting with regular review Development of a high performance team providing pro-active coaching and support Participation and lead of key projects to drive continuous improvement Responsibility for other business administration overheads

What are we looking for?

• Qualified accountant (CCAB) with proven experience or working at Finance Controller  Manager level within a product based environment Great technical accounting ability with a high degree of commercial acumen Excellent analytical and problem solving skills Results focused with a continuous improvement and ‘can do’ approach Great organisation and planning skills
