Our client is now looking for a Finance Assistant to join their team on a permanent, part-time basis, working 22.5 – 27 hours per week.

The Role

As a Finance Assistant, you will support the effective delivery of our client’s financial processes.

Managing administrative aspects for their short break and respite services, you will take bookings, process Carer payments, raise purchase invoices and credit notes, maintain records and provide input on the future development of the services.

You will also process weekly payment runs, daily bank reconciliations and transactions as well as incoming invoices, outgoing payments and staff expenses.

About You

To be considered as a Finance Assistant, you will need:

- Experience working in a similar office-based finance role
- Experience developing relationships as part of an effective customer service process
- Sound financial knowledge
- Proficiency in IT, including Excel, Outlook and Word
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- At a minimum, GCSEs or equivalent at level 4 / Grade C or above in Maths and English
