Management Accountant – 6m FTC
Dukinfield
£50,000 - £60,000 per annum
This is a 6 month FTC opportunity to cover in a Management Accountant capacity.
The company are one entity of part as a group within the manufacturing industry, offering a range of services.
Reporting to the FD, you will oversee the month end and management accounts process, while overseeing and helping the current Assistant Accountant and other junior staff.

This is a 6 month FTC opportunity to cover in a Management Accountant capacity.
The company are one entity of part as a group within the manufacturing industry, offering a range of services.
Reporting to the FD, you will oversee the month end and management accounts process, while overseeing and helping the current Assistant Accountant and other junior staff.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparation of monthly Management Accounts for multiple entities
- Support and develop members of the management accounts team
- Assist in the delivery of the month end balance sheet review ensuring appropriate controls are in place
- Achievement of departmental KPIs and deadlines
- Monitor debtor and creditor days
- Review and provide commentary on monthly variances from actual to budget and forecast
- Preparation of monthly analysis as may be requested
- Ad-hoc projects
- ACCA, CIMA Qualified or Qualified By Experience
- Technically astute, with the ability to apply technical accounting knowledge to practical situations.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise and communicate effectively at all levels across the business including Senior Management.
- Innovative and solution focused with the ability to work to tight deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Highly proficient influencing skills
- Knowledge of finance systems
- Strong Excel skills
