Full Time

You will work closely with the Financial Controller, the senior leadership team and Group Finance team to provide accurate company financial information. This will include monthly financial accounts, VAT returns, Reconcile C79 returns, R&D claims, involvement in Corporation Tax calculations and the supporting payroll function.

Description

  • Ensure financial accounts comply with relevant statutory and accounting standards.
  • Prepare and review with Financial Controller monthly company P&L and Balance sheet.
  • Prepare and review with Financial Controller annual statutory accounts.
  • Ensure company conforms to group requirements for internal control processes.
  • Review month end accruals and prepayments reports with Financial Controller in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns to HMRC in a timely manner.
  • Post monthly salaries related journals.
  • Reconcile monthly C79, Deferred statements and CDS statements.
  • Assist the Financial controller in preparing corporation tax requires for Group.
  • Review and prepare R&D claims for submission to head office tax department.
  • Monthly CIS submissions
  • Monitor and review Tax Risk registers with Financial Controller

Profile

  • Qualified CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent
  • Significant post qualification experience in a senior role within a busy finance team
  • Experience in work in a matrix organisation
  • Experience working in manufacturing environment.
  • Experience preparing monthly financial statements.
  • Significant financial reconciliation experience
  • Preparation of statutory annual returns
