In this role, you will be responsible for driving strategic business decisions through financial analysis and budgeting. You will serve as a key liaison between the finance team and the regional management teams, providing financial guidance and insight to drive performance improvement and profitability.

Client Details

My client operates in an area of the market where they are market leaders. They have won two large, long term contracts and as Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for contract management, ensuring compliance, identifying opportunities and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including their customers.

Description

  • Lead the production of the annual budget and quarterly re-forecasts, working with departmental managers to ensure these are accurate and capture any critical actions
  • Manage the monthly regional financial review process and liaise directly with colleagues continually to drive performance
  • Be the main point of contact for the operational teams and other internal stakeholders for any financial queries
  • Take ownership of specific areas of contractual change management and compliance, co-ordinating the wider business to identify any commercial impact and ensuring compliance with obligations
  • Produce month-end variance analysis for two key contracts and calculate certain specific inputs for the month-end accounting process
  • Produce internal reporting as and when required on areas of high financial priority
  • Manage one member of the finance team, taking responsibility for their professional development

Profile

  • Fully qualified in a recognised Accountancy qualification.
  • Previous experience with budgeting and forecasting
  • Strong excel modelling skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • High level of organisation and project management skills
  • Motivation, flexibility and the ability to work on own initiative with a drive for excellence, attention to detail and process improvement.
