Elevation Recruitment Group are pleased to be working with an ambitious and entrepreneurial company based in Wath Upon Dearne as they look to recruit a Finance Business Partner/ Commercial Analyst to help drive business strategy and future company growth.

The role's primary purpose will be to work closely with the firm's supplier network, develop strong relationships and provide an influential link between finance, suppliers and the commercial sales team in order to help drive performance.

Key duties and responsibilities will include:

* Own all volumetric and sections of the financial modelling relating to the businesses lead supplier network
* Work closely with the Commercial Director, providing ad-hoc analytical support to answer queries from senior leadership on trading and contact centre performance
* Support the production of commercial and operational KPIs to ensure they provide a true reflection on current business performance
* Cost-based margin analysis and profitability analysis
* Closely business partner with suppliers and commercial teams and generate close relationships with each
* Negotiate best pricing with suppliers in order to facilitate improved margins for the business
* Provide support with data-driven, tactical strategies to improve performance
* Lead on modelling the financial implications for an extremely broad range of proposed future commercial and operational decisions and business cases
* Support the business with supplier contract reviews from a financial aspect
* Drive standardisation through documented processes and seek opportunities for process improvements
* Support and develop the financial acumen of the management team and other key stakeholders
* Assist in the development and implementation of the company's strategy and proactively challenge the management team when performance is not aligned
* Assist the formulation of financial forecasts/budgets
* Work closely with local finance to develop knowledge, transfer skills and identify further efficiencies to deliver best in class financial service
* Deliver appropriate, consistent and accurate reporting schedules to facilitate business requirements
* Undertake ad-hoc business projects as and when required

The successful candidate will require the following:

* Ideally CIMA/ ACCA/ ACA Qualified although Part Qualified/ Qualified by Experience will also be considered
* Strong commercial acumen
* Previous business partnering experience
* Can demonstrate ability in using numbers to drive a business forward
* Ability to see the wider financial impact
* Strong organisational skills
* Able to work as part of a team as well as individually
* Strong analytical skills
* Attention to detail with pragmatic approach
* Ability to influence others at all levels within the organisation
* Eager to assist in the continuous improvement of the organisation
* Ability to promote, embrace and manage change
Benefits:

Salary: Up to £60,000 (Dependent on Experience)
Hybrid working: Option to work 1 day from home
