Description
- Developing and implementing financial controls, policies and procedures
- Overseeing the preparation of accurate and timely financial information
- Analysing financial data to provide insights into business performance
- Managing budgets and forecasts
- Overseeing internal and external audits
- Guiding tax and regulatory compliance
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including banks, investors, and regulatory bodies
Profile
- A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Strong technical and financial accounting knowledge (UK GAAP, IFRS)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience managing a finance team
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial systems
