Group Management Accountant - Sheffield / Hybrid

Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be partnering with a market leading distribution business to recruit a Group Management Accountant.

Based in South Sheffield, the business operate a hybrid working policy where you will only need to work in the office two days each week.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for all financial reporting for the Head Office entities.

Responsibilities will include:

* Ensuring all general ledger entries for the Head Office entities are recorded correctly and accurately with appropriate reconciliations
* Preparation and timely submission of Management Accounts and reports for the Group
* Management of Group VAT reporting
* Control of monthly Group-wide intercompany balance reconciliation process investigating and resolving any discrepancies with corresponding entities
* Assisting the central finance team in producing accurate forecasts and budgets
* Co-ordinating external audits of the head office entities
* Processing and approval of payroll and purchase ledger payments across the group
* Develop and monitor business systems and procedures
* Ad-hoc work as required

Key Skills / qualifications:

* CIMA, ACA, ACCA qualified or QBE
* Experience of preparation of management accounts and management reporting
* Strong communication skills
* Advanced Excel
* Outstanding planning and organisation skills and attention to detail
* Analytical thinking
* Excellent time management skills
