Are you a Junior FP&A Manager with a passion for driving results and delivering value? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team and proactively support FP&A Senior Managers in joining the dots across the UK value chain. You will provide relevant, actionable, and impactful management information and insights through monitoring UK financial data and FCF performance, as well as highlighting risks and opportunities versus plans. Your expertise will ensure the credibility of financial analysis through oversight of financial information across the end-to-end UK recorded value chain and integration with recorded teams' plans and information needs. What You'll Be Doing.

  • Analyze and review royalty payment reports, collaborating with royalties team for client reviews.
  • Assist Label and Planning Managers with budget management and cost controls.
  • Ensure client accounting and balances are reconciled to SAP ledgers.
  • Monitor deals and review financial viability through scenario modelling.
  • Prepare for business/label reviews, forecasts, and spend/cost reviews.
  • Work with planning managers and finance on process improvement.
  • Ensure timely reporting of financial information.
  • Support budgeting/forecasting and promote data-driven decision making.
  • Ensure consistency of messaging throughout management.
  • Support implementation of group-wide automation initiatives.
  • Ensure accounting processes are aligned with IFRS standards and provide information to auditors.  

 

Who You Are.

  • Experience in a management accounting/ FP&A role.
  • Part qualified in either ACA / ACCA / CIMA.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to work under strict deadlines.
  • Critical thinking skills to identify the root cause of problems and issues.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey information to both finance and non-finance professionals.
  • Methodical approach with a proven track record of delivering results.
  • Diligent, proactive, and flexible in approach with strong relationship building skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including vlookups, sumifs, and pivot tables.
  • Experience with reporting and extracting data from financial systems.
  • Basic knowledge of data analytical tools such as Looker, Tableau, Anaplan or similar.
  • Familiarity with accounting software.  

 

It’s a plus if you also have…

  • Exposure to financial models and understanding of how they work and can be updated.
  • Experience with SAP.
  • Experience building reports in data analytical tools.
  • Previous experience working in an FP&A/Business Partnering role.
  • Previous experience working within the creative industry.
