easyJet are on the hunt for a Finance Manager to join us on a permanent basis. This fantastic role provides complete financial ownership and delivery of financial planning, reporting and accounting for easyJet’s subsidiaries, including line management of one direct report, to support the activities under the leadership of this role.

As a key member of the Group Financial Control (GFC) team, this role will report into the Senior Finance Manager –Group Technical Accounting. The GFC team are responsible for closing the financial books at the end of each month, as well as the internal and external financial reporting of the business. This Finance Manager role is responsible the end-to end financial management and reporting for easyJet’s subsidiaries (including overseas entities) and provides a finance business partnership between subsidiary management and the wider easyJet Group, how exciting is that! Key elements of the role include delivery of a high and consistent standard of financial control, month-end reporting, production of the statutory financial statements, being key audit contact and supporting the GFC team during key reporting periods such as half year and year end. Requirements of the Role

What you need to do the role
To do this role you need a professional qualification (ACA, ACCA) with at least 1-2 years post qualification experience. Excellent analytical skills with an ability to demonstrate an excellent grasp of variance analysis and the key drivers is a must, and so is the ability to embrace large, complex, preferably fast moving entities.
You will need to manage your own time across variety of tasks and projects to deliver to deadlines, with the proven capability to digest and interpret accounting complexity across balance sheet, cash flow and P&L. Strong stakeholder management/engagement is a must as you’ll report easyJet’s numbers to our CFO and other key members of our AMB (Airline Management Board) – fantastic exposure to the business and an opportunity for you to thrive in your career.

Location and Hours of Work

This full-time role is based in Luton in Hangar 89 (hybrid working) and will be 40 hours per week.
