What you'll be doing:

• Co-ordinating, reviewing and challenging the cost base elements of the in-year forecast and integrated business plan (IBP) for the Operations business
• Leading on monthly management reporting (MMR) for Operations, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and to a quality standard including additional reporting at half and full year
• Collaborating with the wider business to consolidate and report the total Operations cost base including preparing reports and commentaries for issue to the Operations Board of Directors
• Leading in the reporting of weekly cash forecasts, balance sheet review and supporting the wider Costbase capability centre
• Ensuring appropriate financial controls and governance are in place, including support to any audit activity
• Managing and motivating the team, including performance reviews and personal development and management of 1 direct report apprentice role

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

• Fully qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA or relevant equivalent- will not accept part qualified or AAT
• Proficient in using Microsoft products with advanced Excel skills (vlookup, pivot, use of excel add-ons)
• Reporting, forecasting, and budgeting knowledge
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in Presentation of financial information to Senior Finance Stakeholders

Desirable:

• Experience in improvement of processes
• Cost base experience or reporting experience

We currently have a vacancy for a Senior Accountant working in the FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) Costbase Capability Centre supporting the Operations business, part of the Air Sector

Working as part of a team of 22 to support delivery of Costbase of 1 across the number of lines of business

This role will provide you with an exciting and challenging position, you will be required to regularly interact with the finance director - business partner and will give you opportunities to deal with multiple stakeholders across Air and comes with a broad range of responsibilities and opportunities to stretch your capabilities
