Job title: Lead Project Professional - Delivery (PMO)

What you'll be doing:

    You'll develop and maintain the GFA (Government Furnished Assets) project planYou'll coordinate with the GFA and shipyard teams and other contractorsYou'll ensure that all GFA items are delivered on time, within budget and meet project requirementsEstablish and maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including project team members, and suppliersYou'll identify and manage risks and issues related to GFA delivery and integration onto platformYou'll monitor and report project performanceYou'll develop and maintain project documentation, including GFA requirements, specifications and technical dataYou'll manage any changes to the GFA package
Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

    Experience as a Project Manager, preferably in a government or defence contracting environmentExperience in Engineering - preferably in Military EngineeringExperience with Project Management software (e. MS Project or Primavera P6)
Desirable:

    Experience with GFA delivery and integration, preferably in a submarine or shipbuilding project

The Project Management Organisation (PMO) team:

You'll work with up to 8 teams and engage with the MoD and be responsible for managing the customer (MoD) as Government Furnished Assets (GFA) supplier in support of the submarine design and build process. You'll be responsible for planning, executing and co-ordinating delivery of the GFA into the design community, the rigs or shipyard and onto the boat.
