A well established business based in Lancaster, are expanding their Finance team and now seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join their team on a permanent and part time basis. The business is led by a systems driven FD & MD, who are looking to continuously improve the business. They are a longstanding business, with over 80 years service in their sector with an excellent reputation in the local area. Your new role
In your new role as Management Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting the Finance team with monthly management accounts and ad-hoc duties. Your role will include working with the Financial Controller to provide accurate and timely figures for month end, ensuring invoices and journals are raised and posted to the system accurately and that the allocation and classification of costs is in line with cost centre reporting. You will have control over the maintenance of Fixed Asset Ledger and manage monthly close of all ledgers, alongside payroll reconciliations, assisting in the annual budget preparation and oversee the office accountancy function. This is a part time role, working 3 full days a week.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful for this role, you will have experience of or be working as a Management Accountant currently. Ideally you will have experience working on Sage and be able to demonstrate a good understanding of Excel. You will be a strong team player, with a flexible working attitude and be able to work to tight deadlines.

What you'll get in return
In return, you will be offered a permanent salary between £30,000 - £35,000 FTE. You will have the option of hybrid working and flexibility around your hours. Your benefits package includes onsite parking, 28 days holiday and statutory pension.
