Your new role

As payroll administrator you will prepare weekly and monthly payroll to client's specifications. You will report to the payroll supervisors and ultimately to the payroll Director..


Duties will include:

* Preparing and processing weekly and monthly payrolls for clients.
* Answering client queries regarding payroll, PAYE, NIC
* Completing paperwork on behalf of clients regarding PAYE, NIC
* Responding to HMRC queries on behalf of clients.
* Calculating, keeping records, and informing clients all payments due to the HMRC
* Keeping relevant files and records in good order for any inspection by HMRC.
* Filing all relevant information regarding payrolls in client's individual files
* Liaising with other stakeholder regarding payrolls queries.
* Preparing BACS payments for client's pay-date, including BACS remittance payments as appropriate.


What you'll need to succeed

* You must have a minimum of 3 years end to end payroll experience to be considered for this role, with a knowledge of up to date payroll legislation/HMRC requirements
* You will need to be a confident communicator, able to liaise with different stakeholders
* You will also need to be accurate in your work, provide attention to detail and able to manage a busy and demanding work load
* Good IT skills, experience of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, and payroll systems
