Financial Accountant - £30,000-£40,000 DOE - Oxford - Permanent

This is a great opportunity to join a growing company in the technical and internet services sector based in Oxford. the purpose of the role is to take ownership over a wide range of duties across the finance function with a view to learn and develop over time.

Your new role
As the successful candidate, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing monthly and statutory accounts
• Management reporting
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns
• Accounts payable functions
• Bank reconciliations and treasury management
• Liaising with auditors and other stakeholders

What you'll need to succeed
To be the successful candidate, you will need:

• Studying / part qualified / newly qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA
• Knowledge of UK GAAP
• Knowledge of UK Tax
• Strong MS Excel skills
• Enthusiastic and proactive
