An independent firm in Central Bristol are excited to announce they are looking for a friendly, motivated, driven person to take on an Audit/Accounts Senior role! The firm have been experiencing a sustained period of expansion for some time and are keen to attract talented accountants looking for great career growth potential. Your new role

You will take the lead for Audit assignments from start to finish. As well as completing a variety of areas of audit work which includes the identification of issues, analysis of data, articulation of findings and the ability to draw informed conclusions. You will liaise with clients regarding any queries and in respect of accounting and audit matters. As an experienced accountant you will be on hand to support and coach more junior members of the team. On top of this, you will be provided with the opportunity to develop your own portfolio, onboarding new clients, and taking over responsibility for some of the firm's existing client base. With this role you will be more client facing - taking responsibility for managing your own deadlines and conducting client meetings.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to succeed you must be ACA/ACCA qualified and must have recent experience with working in an accountancy practice and must have a strong understanding of the audit process from start to finish. Your previous experience in a similar role within an accountancy firm will allow you to understand the importance of managing a varied workload with strict deadlines, all whilst developing your commercial acumen and ability to spot additional opportunities for the firm. You must also be a team player, supportive and friendly as well as possessing excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
