This expanding professional services business in South Manchester has been on an organic growth journey in recent years. With lots of financial stability, the business operates with a collaborative workplace culture and looking to bring someone in to lead the small finance team and deliver on financial and management reporting, alongside business partnering on forward looking financial planning activities.

Your new role

Supporting the Finance Director, you will manage a small finance team and be hands on with the financial and management reporting for the business. In this role you will consistently look for ways to improve the financial controls and processes and be responsible for supporting FP&A and business partnering activity. The business is continuing to scale and now sits at around £10m revenue with 100 employees, so being agile to work with a wide range of stakeholders is also key.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have a sound technical accounting background from completing your ACA or ACCA accounting qualification. You'll have demonstrable experience at the Finance Manager or Financial Controller level, and ideally spent time within a professional services business. If you have knowledge of SRA that would also be very beneficial!
