Senior Management Accountant

The successful candidate will have extensive management accountants experience and be keen to add value to the business as an active business partner, whilst managing 2 direct reports.

Description

The key responsibilities are as follows

The role holder will be required to lead, motivate and develop a team of
management accountants working with operational management to deliver
accurate financial information

● Production and detailed analysis of monthly management accounts
● Preparation of forecasts and budgets in conjunction with Regional Manager
● Manage queries in liaison with Group auditors
● Control and reporting of capital expenditure
● Financial analysis of operational data and KPI
● Post investment financial review and analysis of long term financial
performance
● Working with clients on contract performance and adapting systems to any
changes in service
● Ensure all contracts and depots within the remit are complying with Group
financial policies and procedures
● Business partner to South East Regional Manager, advising on financial
aspects to improve efficiency and performance
● Ensure all contracts within the remit are complying with Group financial policies and procedures

(Ad Hoc travel to local neighbouring sites will be required)

Profile

The successful candidate will

• Have 2+ Years post-qualification experience gained in a commercial or professional
• environment. Multi-site account management and Business Partnering.
• Qualified Accountant (ACA / /ACCA / CIMA)
• Excellent spreadsheet skills
• Good organisation and ability to work to tight deadlines
• Strong presentation and communication
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Broad system skills - working knowledge of Workday/SAP ideal
• Self-motivated
• Operationally astute
• Leadership of a small finance team
