easyJet is recruiting a newly qualified Finance Analyst to join our fantastic Commercial Finance team. This role will report into the Finance Manager supporting Marketing, Customer and Digital teams that are at the forefront of the business responsible for ensuring we are the leading leisure airline coming out of the recovery phase of the pandemic. This role is pivotal in supporting the decision-making processes across these areas, typically covering investments in TV marketing, social media, web, and customer insight. This brilliant opportunity has the responsibility of providing a true Business Partner framework to Marketing, Customer and Digital teams ensuring that the business owners are always supported with the right insight and information, whilst promoting a consistent commercial perspective amongst key stakeholders and ensuring it informs key decision-making.

This is a brilliant way to start your career within a commercial business partnering environment, as this role has exposure to key senior stakeholders across the business, and you will have the chance to present the forecasts and budgets on a monthly basis to the Chief Customer and Marketing Officer and their senior leadership team. Month end deliverables are a key part of the role and you will get involved and lead on some exciting projects within easyJet, along with supporting the Finance Manager in analysing key marketing campaigns and understanding commercial effectiveness, through Return on Investment (ROI) analysis and to help ensure optimal mix of ATL (Above-The-Line) and Digital Marketing spend. This is a great opportunity to come in and made a difference by helping to aid our mission of better brand loyalty, awareness and customer satisfaction through supporting the Customer team on insight, policies, and engagement.

Requirements of the Role

What you need to do the role

To do this role you need to be a newly qualified accountant with the ability to embrace large, complex and fast moving entities. You will need excellent analytical skills with an ability to demonstrate a good grasp of financial and non-financial variance analysis, whilst ensuring you can deliver to tight deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail. The ability to communicate and challenge effectively with key stakeholders at all levels of the business is an absolute must. Being a proactive team player with the ability to work on own initiative and has the confidence to offer solutions is also a key requirement. Excellent excel skills (up to basic macros) and Unit4 Planning Analytics experience preferred but not essential.

Location and Hours of Work

This full-time role is based in Luton in Hangar 89 (hybrid working) and will be 40 hours per week.
