Our Finance & Procurement teams take care of things with resilience, commercial know-how and a razor-sharp attention to detail – we are recruiting a Procurement Manager to join us on a permanent basis and continue to add value to our brilliant business.
This role focuses on Transport, Hotels, Accommodation and Disruption, working cross functionally with crew training, all things disruption, crew transport and our staff travel (one of our fantastic benefits) just to name a few. This category is a new business partnering opportunity for Procurement, so a great opportunity to come in and put your stamp on it!

The Procurement Manager is allocated a portfolio of spend to which you will produce and deliver a Procurement Category Plan. To deliver this successfully you will be required to complete spend and market analysis, stakeholder and supplier engagement plans, lead full tender processes including negotiations, template drafting both for existing contracts and new requirements to ensure that easyJet receive best value from its partners.
You will be responsible for updating and / or renewing our preferred supplier list with fantastic exposure to senior stakeholders and senior projects. We want you to be passionate about the easyJet mission to make travel ‘easy and affordable’ and translate Procurement initiatives to support this.

What you need to do the role

To do this role you need to be a strong negotiator and influencer, with strategic thinking and the ability to understand market dynamics & create innovative solutions / category plans – this is a greenfield opportunity for you to come in and really make your own.
Having strong procurement experience is not necessary for this role, we’re really open regarding the type of background you have – whether it’s in travel or not! Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders at a variety of levels is key, also being able to understand complex specifications and contract scopes.
You will need determination and drive, with a tenacity to deliver to the bottom line and of course being able to influence and challenge at a senior management level with excellent problem-solving skills - we want you to go above and beyond with direction and support. You will need to have an understanding of revenue and how 3rd party contracts support the improvement of it including new revenue streams.

LOCATION & HOURS OF WORK

This full-time role will be based in Luton (Hybrid working) and will be 40 hours per week. Remember, we are always #happytotalkflex.
