Multi-faceted, high growth business based in Halifax are now looking to develop their successful finance team.
Partnering with a great deal of well know UK retailers as well as globally, this exciting SME has expanded the business through additional sites, developing their consumer offering and now employs over 100 people.
As Senior Management Accountant you will be responsible for the preparation of management accounts including P&L, balance sheet, detailed variance analysis, MI pack, cashflow and commentary.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Preparation of weekly financial reporting including sales, margin and production variances
- Preparation of reports, written, numerical and visual, using a proficiency in Excel, PowerBI, and PowerPoint for presentation to the Leadership Team and the Board of Directors
- Utilising a keen understanding of the manufacturing and supply chain processes to develop reliable product costings
- Responsible for rolling P&L and Cashflow forecasts as well as the annual budget
- Support a Trainee Management Accountant to develop the skills to continue to grow and add value to the business while attaining their qualifications
To be considered for the opportunity you must have previous Management Accounts experience in a manufacturing environment. Ideally you will be CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified, finalists will be considered. The successful candidate will ideally have a background working in a similarly small finance team.
