Senior Finance Manager | £55,000 - £65,000 | Bolton + Hybrid + Flexi + Good links to M61 | Succession Plan & Progression to Head of Finance
Axon Moore has partnered with a new client near Bolton, working with the Finance Director to find and recruit an ambitious Finance Manager who can be developed into a future business leader.
This role will suit a 1st or 2nd time mover (post-qualification) looking for a really challenging and fast-paced role that will give them the experience needed to progress to become a Head of Finance within a 3 year window.
The role involves:
Due to the progressive nature of this role and the level of stakeholders it will be privy too, our client is looking for a candidate who is a self-starter with a hunger to learn and better themselves. They are looking for an up-and-coming leader who is happy to be pushed out of their comfort zone. Culturally, this is a supportive team and a great place to work but they need a very strong candidate in this role who can make the most of the opportunity.

- Broad responsibilities including statutory accounting, month end reporting and overseeing parts of the team
- Assisting the Finance Director with projects prompted as part of their change and restructuring programme
- Finance Business Partnering with senior stakeholders and shareholders (this is a highly visible role and will have close relationships with shareholders in the business)
- Finance lead for Tax work – not expected to be a specialist, but expected to be a strong researcher, problem solver and communicator
- Finance lead for external relationships with advisors
- This will be an ever changing and increasing role in terms of development and responsibility
