I am working alongside a high performing Retailer to recruit a Financial Director based to their team on an initial 12- month contract (with potential for a permanent placement). This role will include providing additional support through a busy period and will provide opportunity for progression working with the wider finance team. Reporting directly into the CEO as a Financial Director you will be:
- As Finance Director you will be leading, developing and expanding the finance team at circa 15 heads
- Complete oversight of the day-today running of account/finance operations
- Preparing detailed monthly reports and for the CEO and relevant stakeholders
- Offering strategies and improvements for expansion/growth within the business and streamlining the monthly, quarterly and annual reporting process
- Overseeing financial planning, budget processes and creating/maintaining forecasting tools to assist with future business decisions whilst outlining/minimising risks
- Working with the marketing team to expand the brand name
- Ad hoc commercial and finance queries across clients.
The ideal candidate will be ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualified with strong technical ability and proven track record in a similar role. Prior experience in a multi-site setting is beneficial. A start date from April, and a day rate between £600-£750.
