Our client is a leading Professional services firm with offices across the UK. They are currently looking to recruit a Credit Controller join their team in Oxford.
The Role of Credit Controller: HYBRID
You will be supporting the Finance Manager and Finance Director by covering the credit control function, along with a variety of other financial duties.
Key Responsibilities & duties include:
- Ensure credit control across the practice is carried out
- Ensure debts collected
- Allocate income received into all bank accounts against outstanding sales invoices on sales ledger
- Provide monthly updates for circulation to the management team on outstanding debts
- Check bank accounts daily and pay any cheques received into a local HSBC branch
- Process approved purchase invoices
- Maintain purchase ledger accounts and ensure balances are checked and reconciled
- Run accounts payable report
- Check and post expense claims
- Prepare fortnightly proposed payment runs
- Process approved expenses payment runs
- Review and post approved timesheets
- Reconcile and post petty cash balances for regional offices
- Deal with any general supplier queries
- Work as a team with administration staff
- Contribute to the development of financial systems
- Fulfil any other responsibilities, or complete any ad hoc projects
- Completion of monthly bank recs for GBP and currency accounts
- Review, calculation and posting of accruals and prepayment journals
- Minute taking during meetings and circulation in a timely manner
The Candidate for Credit Controller
- Credit control experience in a B2B environment
- Good knowledge of Financial Systems
