Projects Finance Analyst – Permanent - Wallingford - £28,000-£33,000

This is an opportunity for an emerging or experienced Projects Finance Analyst to join a global not-for-profit business, tackling some of the most challenging issues of sustainability, from poverty and hunger to education and food production.

You will work closely with the senior Project Accountant and have responsibility for providing accurate and timely accounting and management reporting across a range of programme projects, as well as budgeting and forecasting:

  • Setup of new projects in the financial systems for the Programmes.
  • Prepare monthly and ad hoc reports and analysis to enhance understanding of the performance of the Projects.
  • Assist the Senior Project Accountant with all audit requirements, donor reporting and monthly Programme and Project income accruals.
  • Provide first line support to the Project Managers and Regional Office Finance Staff.
  • Assist in accounting, budgeting and re-forecasting processes for Programmes and various externally funded projects.
  • Ensure good financial controls and compliance with accounting procedures to satisfy audit requirements.
  • Undertake training on a new finance system and provide support and assistance during the implementation stage.

  • Proficient in the use of a wide range of IT packages, including Word, Excel, Outlook and accountancy system

  • Highly organised and professional approach to work.
