Accounts Payable Clerk

This Senior Accounts Payable role will report to the Accounts Payable Manager and its aim is to ensure queries are resolved and accounts are paid on time. My client offers a hybrid working pattern which involves two days working in the office and three days working from home. Please note, if successful, there will be an expectation to be in the office more for the initial training/induction period.

Key Responsibilities:

Working on complex/difficult accounts to support the Team Leader and wider team
Maintain and improve supplier relationships
Supplier statement reconciliations
Process invoices/credit notes
Resolve supplier queries
Resolve internal queries with commercial, stores and Distribution Centres as required

What are we looking for?

Studier AAT/ACCA/CIMA or QBE
4-5 Years in Accounts Payable
Excel to intermediate level, good communication both written and oral
Retail background
Keen attention to detail, problem solving skills
