Our client is a private equity backed leading regional healthcare provider based in the West Midlands. The business has achieved significant growth and market share over the past few years and is now poised for further expansion as the sector settles after the turmoil of the pandemic.  The anticipated growth is likely to be both via M&A activity as well as organic.  The CEO is now looking to hire a CFO to partner him and the COO, shaping the future of the business financially, commercially and strategically.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the finance team ensuring it is an effective business partner both internally and externally
  • Proactively develop commercial and strategic insights that demonstrably drive both top and bottom line company performance
  • Ensure systems, processes, controls are robust and compliant with regulations and governance
  • Develop systems utilizing new technology to streamline operations and processes
  • Take a lead role in M&A
  • Manage relationships with banks, investors, advisors and other third parties

The ideal candidate for this role will be comfortable working in a hands on environment and will be extremely data driven and happy to embrace new cutting edge technology as an important asset to the successful running of the business.  As the finance function is relatively small the successful candidate must be prepared to roll up their sleeves as well as be capable of adding strategic value at Board level.
