The Management Accountant role at ARDEX UK is responsible for providing accurate and timely financial information to support business decision-making. They will prepare monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and annual budgets, manage accounts payable and receivable, and liaise with external auditors.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

* Preparation of monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.

* Variance analysis, providing commentary on actual vs budgeted performance and identifying areas for improvement.

* Preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.

* Management of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

* Preparation of statutory accounts and liaison with external auditors.

* Support for senior management in financial decision-making.

Profile

The successful candidate for the Management Accountant position at ARDEX UK would be a highly motivated and experienced individual who has a strong background in accounting and financial management. You will have manufacturing experience in a similar role and hold a qualification as a Chartered Accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA).

You will have excellent knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and standards, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills. They should be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

The ideal candidate should have experience with accounting software (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and be able to use this to manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. They should also have experience in preparing monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements, and have a good understanding of variance analysis.

The successful candidate should be detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage their time effectively to meet deadlines. They should be able to work under pressure and be flexible in their approach to work.
