A Supply Chain Finance Analyst is needed for an intial 3 month contract for a food manufacturing company baed in East London.
The role will support the Supply Chain Finance Finance Manager with the financial operations, reporting and budgeting processes for the London sites.
The role is hybrid - likely 4 days per week in the office due to the operational support nature of the role.
Someone with FMCG/ manufacturing experience is highly desirable.
The Finance Analyst will be business partnering with the Finance Manager, Financial Controller, Site Directors and Site Operational team.
The duties of the Finance Analyst will include:
- Weekly/Monthly KPI reporting
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Accruals and Prepayment Schedules
- Monthly Accounts production by WD2
- Monthly Report packs available by WD7
- Weekly Overheads reporting
- Weekly Labour reporting
- Annual budgets and forecast inputs
The ideal candidate will:
- Part qualified/studying towards accountancy qualification - ACCA/ CIMA.
- Excellent analytical skills, a passion for metrics and figures, and the ability to get into the details, while also seeing and understanding the bigger picture.
- A real attention to detail and a commitment to deliver a high level of accuracy.
- Site based experience is preferable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work to tight deadlines.
- Integrity and honesty.
- Confident user of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Have worked in a FMCG or manufacturing environment or supply chain role
- Will need to have a notice period of 2 weeks or less
