Temp Treasury / Cash Accountant for Norfolk-based business PQ, QBE or Qualified.
Your new company
Urgent need for an interim Treasury Accountant to support a Norfolk-based business who are seeking on-going temporary support to cover managing cash flow and undertake extensive account reconciliations
Your new role
In this temporary Treasury Accountant job you will be responsible for reporting on the daily cash position which will involve managing a strict 13-week rolling cashflow forecast showing actual cash as well as improving reporting processes for the Senior Management Team. This will involve working with all areas of the business from the procurement teams, purchase ledger departments, the wider finance teams and payroll to ensure funds are available.
As a Treasury Accountant you will also monitor all business loans and bank account balances for the Group as well as prepare any regulated reports, ensure all compliance obligations are met including internal money laundering procedures. You will also ensure capital loans are met and update the balance sheet to ensure all assets / liabilities are recorded correctly.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience of all things treasury or transferable skills where you can demonstrate your experience of managing large volumes of cash, internal procedures, cash flow management and the associated regulatory paperwork. We will consider candidates who are Qualified by experience, Part-Qualified or Qualified Accountants with the relevant experience.
What you'll get in return
As explained this an interim finance role and you will be paid an hourly rate of circa £30,000 - £40,000 depending on experience. The role is ideally office-based near Norwich however hybrid-working may be considered.
