A national main contractor in the design, build and maintenance of infrastructure projects is looking to add a Management Accountant to their team. Working as part of a small finance team, you will provide quality and timely management information to management and the Group finance function.
The role in more detail will include:
The successful applicant will be a finalist or newly qualified, with management accounting experience and demonstrate a strong commercial awareness with excellent communication. You will be a team player and able to work on your own initiative, whilst possessing strong IT skills including a high degree of Microsoft Excel competence. MS Dynamics and experience of working in a project-based environment in engineering or construction would be an advantage.
The role in more detail will include:
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Monthly WIP reporting and other related project-based functions
- Support tenders & business plans when required
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Key involvement in introduction of new ERP / IT systems
- Assist with ensuring full VAT, CIS, PAYE compliance on staff contracts
- Review of project performance on a historical and forecast basis
- Supporting with bi-weekly cashflow forecasts
