Marks Sattin is delighted to be working with a large business near to Sheffield supporting them with the recruitment of a Senior Financial Accountant to join their head office function.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Senior Financial Accountant will be responsible for supporting the team in fulfilment of the finance teams objectives to help drive improvements to the group reporting across the group.
- Preparation of the statutory accounts for the group
- Reconcile the management accounts to group accounts
- Liaise with external auditors
- Review submitted consolidation packs
- Review closing journals
- Ad hoc support across the wider finance team
The successful candidate will be qualified ACA/ACCA with experience and understanding of IFRS and UK GAAP. The role is very well-suited for someone currently working in practice and looking to make their first move into industry.
Very flexible working- 1-2 days in the office per month
