Financial Accountant - PERE (Contract)

Financial Accountant - PERE (CONTRACT) - OUR CLIENT is a global Real Estate investment business, with a proven track-record of delivering risk-adjusted returns across various asset classes. They have instructed us to help them seek an experienced Financial Accountant - financial reporting to join their European team on a fixed term 12 month contract to perm basis.

THE ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES: for the Financial Accountant - Financial Reporting will include but are not limited to:

• Preparation of the monthly management reporting for each SPV and the assets it owns under both local and group reporting GAAPs.
• Preparation of detailed and high-quality monthly variance analysis.
• Preparing of year end financial statements and assisting with year end audits.
• Assisting on the tax compliance for each SPV including quarterly VAT reporting.
• Liaising with 3rd party providers to ensure delivery of timely and high quality reporting.
• Cash management including monthly distributions.
• Supporting the treasury team with lender covenant reporting.
• Working with the Asset Manager to provide adhoc financial analysis.
• Adhoc finance tasks and project work as requested.

THE PERSON and SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

• ACA/ACCA recently qualified with 0-2 years PQE. And with strong academic record.
• Good working knowledge of IFRS.
• Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills.
• Experience in the real estate or the construction sectors would also be an advantage.
• Highly organised with good time management skills.
• Confident and proactive approach to work.
• Ability to build professional and effective team relationships.
• Ability to problem solve and deal with unfamiliar scenarios.
