Elevation Recruitment Group are pleased to be working with a well established and successful business in Doncaster as they look to recruit a FP&A Manager to work as part of this growing finance team.
This role will report directly to the Head of Finance and will be responsible for group reporting for management information and performance aswell as managing and developing effective and efficient forecasting and budgeting processes. You will also ensure proactive business reviews and comprehensive narrative are completed for both local management and group.
Duties will include: -
- Reporting of management information and performance to management and board
- Reporting of required management reports and adhoc requests
- Development and implementation of a rolling / real time forecast process within the company for P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow plus relevant non-financial statistics
- Ownership and development of the TM1 and associated forecasting tools ensuring best practice and robustness of support within finance
- Management and delivery of forecasts and budgets for group companies including a proactive management review process which promotes profit and continuous improvement
- Management and reporting of the group's investment requirements, forecasts and budgets
- Management and delivery of the forecast and budget for submission
- Create the relevant narrative and storyboards for actuals, forecasts, budgets and mid term plan, plus variances
- Useful and proactive variance reporting for the business
- Ensure consistent link of the group UK strategy to the forecast process and content
- Company level tracking of continuous improvement in the business with visibility of plan v actual delivery
- Ensure best practice and latest developments in forecasting and budgeting are promoted to senior finance management.
- Reporting of key financial KPI's across the team
The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experiences:
* Experience of working in a international corporate subsidiary with a defined group reporting regime
* Previous experience of designing and implementing a rolling/real time forecast approach and a business review process
* Expert knowledge on financial forecasting, budgeting and mid term plan preparation and reporting
* Knowledge and experience of Cognos TM1 software (Highly desirable)
* Experience of business partnering within an operational organisation
* Ability to apply a simplicity to complex forecasting requirements
* Good training skills
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to gain buy-in to new processes and ways of working
* Have a passion for continuous improvement and be confident to proactively challenge in a positive way
