Group Financial Accountant | Blackburn | 12 month FTC | Immediate Start | Up to £55k
Marks Sattin are delighted to be working with a leading European brand who are looking for a talented Group Financial Accountant to join their team. This is a 12 month fixed term contract, that could potentially be made permanent. This is an office based role in Blackburn.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the day-to-day accounting for holding companies.
- Ownership of intercompany reconciliations.
- Prepare and produce tax packs.
- Ownership of groups external borrowings in line with IFRS 9.
About you
- An ACA/ACCA/ACMA qualified accountant with experience in a similar role.
- Experience of working with international businesses.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Hands-on approach with a willingness to get involved in all aspects of the business.
- A positive attitude, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
