Our growing FinTech client is seeking a skilled and proactive fully qualified accountant to take on an exciting Financial Controller position within their established team based in Reading.

Description

The Financial Controller will lead the finance team and oversee a broad range of day-to-day accounting activities including month end close, management accounts preparation and supervising transactional aspects including AP and Credit Control.

Main Responsibilities will include:

• Management of finance & credit control teams (6 direct reports)
• Preparation of monthly management accounts pack with commentary
• Balance sheet review and intercompany account reconciliations
• Maintenenance of fixed assets
• Preparing financial statements and consolidated group accounts
• Quarterly VAT submissions
• Cashflow forecasting & budget planning
