A reputable and well respected organisation based in the heart of Preston, have approached Hays seeking a permanent Management Accountant to join their team on a full-time and permanent basis, following retirement. Boasting over 40 years of trading, this business has developed an excellent reputation with high levels of tenure and is known for providing great benefits.
Your new role
In your new role as Management Accountant, you will act as a financial business partner for services across the organisation, providing support and advice to develop each business area. You will provide financial reports, identify any financial risks and opportunities and also identify areas for process improvement. You will produce the monthly management accounts, financial reporting and the review of financial processes and internal controls. Alongside this, you will oversee the payroll administration of the businesses, regularly speaking with their external bureau.
This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, experience of working as a Management Accountant is essential with a desire to progress and enhance your career. You will be comfortable with business partnering, with the ability to have discussions and assist in implementing change and be proactive with new ways of working. They are keen to have an experienced Finance professional join them, who is either ABE or studying towards their financial qualifications. Experience of Excel is essential for this role, with a good knowledge of vlookups and pivot tables.
