A qualified and proven finance leader with a background in manufacturing and IT systems development is being hired by our client.

You will be reporting to the Managing Director and your responsibilities would include:

Financial Management

  • Working with the Managing Director and management team to critically evaluate business performance and strive to continuously improve business processes.
  • Provide a leadership role in the management of business profitability and in particular in the management of gross margins.
  • Review and further development of key performance indicators (and working with the MD and management team on improvement of the underlying drivers thereof).


  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of weekly, monthly and annual financial statements to group in line with group practice.
  • Preparation of monthly company management accounts, forecasts and key performance indicators.
  • Preparation of an annual tax pack in support of corporate tax computations and an annual tax return.


  • Maintain accounting and internal controls in line with group and externally accepted practice.
  • Responsible for safekeeping and control over company assets.
  • Managing key balance sheet components including cash, sales and purchase ledgers and asset registers.
  • Dealing with the annual statutory audit.


  • Managing a small finance dept and assisting with the running of a busy administration office.
  • VAT accounting and quarterly VAT returns.
  • Dealing with the financial aspects arising from the use of outsource component supply.
  • Supervision of the company payroll together with all associated external reporting and audit.
