Our client is a well-funded, multi-site business with a strong international footprint.  They are now looking to recruit a CFO to work as part of a highly driven management team , providing critical strategic input whilst also ensuring the business has a best-in-class systems, controls and processes.  This is a highly visible role and the incoming CFO will need to have the necessary credibility and gravitas to work effectively with a broad range of external investors and non-finance functions internally.  Previous experience working in an early stage, high growth business is essential as this role requires somebody with a truly ‘hands-on’ approach together with a strong understanding and appreciation for the more commercial contributions of a CFO in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial business.

Role

  • Lead, direct and manage a small finance team
  • Key member of the Management Team (functional leadership team)
  • Lead financial planning by developing robust growth plans and forecasts
  • Ensure timely financial reporting on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  • Company secretarial duties
  • Treasury and working capital management
  • Responsible for day to day banking relationships and stakeholder management
  • Supporting fundraising (equity and debt), investor requests and due diligence  

 

Experience

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Previous experience working within a multi-site/ multi-location business
  • Strong International experience
  • Demonstrable track record building robust teams whilst ensuring operational excellence
  • Previous FD experience
