Churchill Howard is working in partnership with a multi-site, commercial organisation based in Birmingham, seeking to recruit an outstanding Financial Reporting Manager to form a key part of their finance team. The individual must be technically strong, have the ability to deal with stakeholders at all levels, and be capable of managing a team. The role:
* Responsible for preparing and submitting monthly financial reports for the UK&I business.
* Oversee the management of fixed assets and ensure compliance with IFRS.
* Assist in creating consolidated (P&L) and balance sheet budgets and forecasts.
* Co-ordinate intercompany transactions and communication among various stakeholders within the group.
* Engage with key stakeholders as needed to provide financial updates and insights.
* Continuously review existing processes to enhance efficiency.
* Analyse and interpret large datasets from diverse sources, adapting to different formats.
* Manage part-qualified accountants, particularly in balance sheet reporting.
* Act as a primary liaison between the business and external auditors.
* Prepare specialised reports and analysis for both internal and external stakeholders.
* Keep up to date on international accounting standards (IAS) to ensure accurate financial reporting across key statements.

The individual:
* Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
* High numeric and analytical skills
* Strong knowledge of IFRS
* Proficient in Excel and experience of working with a consolidation system
* Positive attitude towards colleagues
* Strong communication skills, extremely diligent and self-motivated in nature
