Interim Financial Controller

Your new company
I am currently working with a global insurance company who are looking for an interim Financial Controller to start as soon as possible. Based in Central London, reporting into the Financial Director, this role will play a critical part within the company.

Your new role
The key responsibilities include -

• Lead and manage financial reporting, month-end processes, ownership of balance sheet
• Lead and mentor the finance team in all operational activities
• Responsible for managing the external audit and corporate tax and VAT
• Manage key relationships with external stakeholders
• Support and assist the CFO with external relationships and understanding software

What you'll need to succeed

• ACA/ACCA Qualified accountant with at least 5 years PQE, experience with multi-site is desirable
• Team management - previous experience leading a team is a must
• Experience with audit, month end, process controls, UK GAAP, statutory and group financial reporting
• Corporation tax and VAT experience
• Excellent stakeholder management
