Group Financial Controller

Our client is a multi-site leisure business with ambitious expansion plans who are looking to recruit a Group Financial Controller to join their team. 

The Role of Group Financial Controller

Reporting to the CFO, your duties will include but not limited to:

Day to day management of the finance function of 7

Financial lead on leadership team meetings

Budgeting and forecasting

Monthly management accounts including the month end close process:

Closing the sub-ledgers

Flash reporting Accruals and prepayments

Month end balance sheet reconciliations

Fixed assets Group cash forecasting and management, including group financing arrangements Completion and submission of the quarterly VAT returns and other statutory compliance

Preparing and submitting the annual statutory accounts and associated tax filings

Preparation for various high level stakeholder management projects like Due diligence workstreams, preparation for investor/PE days

The Candidate for Group Financial Controller

             Must have multi -site leisure experience: Please note this is a client requirement.

Qualified Accountant from big 4 background or similar Experience of a PE backed business. Self-motivation and being a team player are essential Good man manager  

The role can be performed from home, but the successful candidate will be required to attend regular meetings in London and travel regularly to North East England .This is an exciting role but will not suit someone looking for a routine 9-5 type position .
