Financial Reporting Manager

With a global presence and a solid reputation, they provide a wide range of financial and banking services and solutions for their clients. As part of their continuous growth, they are now looking for an accomplished Financial Controller to join their team of excellence in Manchester.

Your new role

• Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial information and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Development and documentation of business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls.
• Lead a team of 5 to 8 people who are responsible for the process and finance systems related to fixed assets
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards IFRS09 policies regarding fixed assets
• Provide accurate and timely reporting of fixed asset information to stakeholders
• Preparation of financial accounts and statutory accountant
• Group Consolidations

What you'll need to succeed

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA) with previous experience of dealing within complex accounting structures. You'll have strong communication skills and be able to adapt and communicate with colleagues/stakeholders at various levels. You'll have a strong personality, produce competency and behaviour frameworks, with the ability to influence and drive decisions in a qualified team.
