Financial Controller

A family run sales and services organisation that is growing year on year across multiple locations is seeking a Financial Controller to fulfil this new role in the finance team.

Your new role
Continued expansion has created a fantastic opportunity for a Financial Controller to join the business and be a hands-on partner, operating from the head office.

You will work closely with the Finance Director to provide accurate and timely management information whilst also working with each Local Managers to improve reporting and drive improved profitability.
You will:

• Deliver regular insights to the SLT
• Own revenue recognition
• Produce financial reports
• Create forecasts, budgets and stat accounts
• Lead VAT and tax duties cyclically
• Create business wide financial knowledge
• Improve and rescope processes
• Produce monthly P&L
• Develop the finance team
• Liaise with external Audit teams

What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience in an environment that has stock holding / product and service delivery facets in terms of revenue recognition.
You will have led and developed small teams, and be used to SME operations, working very closely with leadership and ownership structures.
You will be technically excellent on Excel and be able to effectively implement commercial awareness.


What you'll get in return
Up to £60,000 pa doe, plus benefits.
