ERP Systems Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to assist with the implementation and management of a new finance ERP system for an established organisation in South Oxfordshire. The purpose of the role is to liaise between the finance and IT teams to oversee the smooth implementation and maintenance of the system. This role is open to both contractors and people looking for a permanent position.
Your new role
As the successful candidate, your responsibilities will include:

• Lead the strategic roadmap and improvements of the ERP system aligning with organisational goals and business processes.
• Oversee new finance systems implementation and manage upgrades, patches, and data migration with IT.
• Provide technical support and training to finance users and liaise with the platform vendor.
• Identify and implement system enhancements to improve finance processes and streamline operations through automation.
• Ensure financial data security and compliance with regulations and support audits by producing ad hoc reports.
• Develop and test disaster recovery plans.
• Develop and maintain management and financial reporting based on requirements from the finance team and key stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeed
To be the successful candidate, you will need:

• Strong knowledge of ERP systems, ideally SAP, Oracle or Deltek systems
• Experience and knowledge of SQL scripts and PowerBI reporting
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Prior experience implementing systems and processes
