Your new role
You'll be joining a busy finance team with a leading employer in the South West, supporting the Team Lead with a number of financial accounting-based responsibilities. Deliverables include:
- Timely issuing of invoices, reconciliation and production of accounts for review.
- Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and escalating issues promptly.
- Supporting half-year and year-end external audits.
- Identifying continuous improvement opportunities.
- Identifying key controls in the processes and implementing improvements where necessary.
What you'll need to succeed
You'll need to be AAT or ACCA/CIMA part-qualified with experience preparing balance sheet reconciliations and a good understanding of accounting concepts and an ability to identify process improvements.
Experience working in a medium to large organisation is preferred.
This role is worked on a hybrid basis with 2 days in the office and 3 days from home. Applicants need to be based within a commutable range of Chippenham, Wiltshire to be considered.
