With a turnover exceeding £50m and over 13,000 students, the institution is committed to driving economic prosperity and responding to regional skills needs.

An inspirational Chief Finance Officer is being sought to lead the financial, operational and resource management of this forward-thinking institution. You will provide strategic leadership and accountability across finances, operational activities, and resources. Working closely with the executive leadership team, you will align measures for performance monitoring and maintain financial health. Your focus will be delivering corporate services (finance, HR, MIS, Estates, IT and Risk Management) to an excellent standard and overseeing systems and processes for efficiency and excellence.

You will contribute to the strategic direction, supporting the executive and wider leadership team and Board. Developing strong relationships with key stakeholders, you will ensure financial probity and compliance, managing operations on a sound financial basis. Leading the development of the organisations Information Systems strategy, you will ensure the delivery of robust information and data management solutions to inform planning and enhance strategic performance.

As a qualified accountant with leadership experience in finance and resources within a complex and highly customer centric setting, you must possess strong strategic planning and leadership skills.
