Group Accountant

Your new company
Our client is looking to recruit a Group Statutory Reporting Accountant for a 100% remote role for 3 - 6 months.
Your new role
You will be responsible for maintaining the accounting for approximately 800 leases across the Group under IFRS 16. This includes liaising with businesses on lease accounting, managing leases within the Iris software, and preparing necessary adjustments for the transition from IAS 17 to IFRS 16. Additionally, the role involves reconciling reports from Iris Innervision to HFM and preparing journal entries for all Group leases at the Group level. You will also play a crucial role in preparing and producing three sets of Group audited consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS, addressing challenges such as business acquisitions, disposals, and restructures. Furthermore, you will provide technical and logistical support to the Group Financial Controller on various Group Finance projects, including accounting for acquisitions and disposals, dividend planning, and Group structure changes.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an ACA or ACCA qualified Accountant with extensive IFRS16 lease Accounting experience.
