Management Accountant

Your new company

Hays are delighted to be working with this long-established family-run business to recruit a management accountant for them on a permanent basis. The company is based in Walsall and the job offers hybrid working, with 3 days in the office and 2 days at home upon successful completion of the probationary period.

Your new role

As the Management Accountant, you will be working closely with the Financial Controller. You will be involved in a variety of duties, including:

• Preparation of the management accounts for 2 businesses within the group
• Business Partnering for 2 businesses within the group
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Accruals and Prepayments
• Month-end Journals
• Variance analysis
• Various reporting as and when required
• Supporting the Financial Controller with producing all commentary on the management accounts

What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate will have experience of month-end and management accounting. They will be driven by nature and will be looking for a varied role.
