Fractional FD - 3 Days/Week

My client is a University spin-off fast expanding, award-winning specialist Industrial Technology SME based in Central Manchester. The entrepreneurial CEO has secured VC/PE backing and a range of Innovate Grants to support their clearly planned powerful growth strategy, both in the UK and Internationally.

In order to support and facilitate the profitable business growth, the company is now looking to appoint its first Fractional FD/CFO (3 days per week).

The focus of this key new role will include:

• Working v closely as "right hand" to the CEO/Board.
• Manage and develop a small efficient Finance team.
• Contract Management - review pricing/margins and also support new Tenders/Bids for a range of renewal and larger new client Contract "wins". 
• Develop SaaS recurring revenue charging model.
• Oversee the production of timely and insightful MI/KPI's.
• Cashflow control.
• Attendance and reporting at Monthly Board Meeting.
• Key point of contact with all professional stakeholders - VC/PE partners, Bank, Innovate Grant/Loan funders, Auditors, Tax Authorities etc.
• Take the lead in securing future additional Series B PE funding to fuel the ongoing growth strategy.  
• Overall, to play a key role in supporting the company's ongoing profitable growth journey leading to an optimal exit strategy within the next c 5 year period.

My client seeks an experienced Portfolio/Fractional FD who can demonstrate a successful track record of scaling early stage ambitious SME's to achieve sustainable profitable growth.

This permanent new Fractional role will be based on-site in Central Manchester for initially 3 days per week ongoing - start date beginning of October.

Professional day Ltd co. rate: £650/day.
